SMIS, founded in 1988, uses English as a medium of instruction and has four campuses across Mozambique (Beira, Nacala, Nampula and Quelimane). SMIS is uniquely qualified to provide an internationally focused education to students from age 3 through graduation from grade 12. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Curriculum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The schools are qualified to teach and examine a range of internationally accepted qualifications-including CIE, IGCSE (International General Curriculum for Secondary Education), A and AS level (Advanced Subsidiary). The school is guided by the Cambridge curriculum which strives to develop the human person who contributes positively to the welfare of the society.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 90% of the students are Mozambican.
